Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how RingMasti ("RingMasti", "we", "us") collects, uses, and shares information when you use the RingMasti website (ringmasti.com) and the RingMasti mobile application for Android (together, the "Service"). By using the Service you agree to this policy.

Information we collect

Account information. Creating an account is optional. If you choose to sign up or sign in, we collect:

• Your email address, username, and display name.
• A password, which is stored in an encrypted (hashed) form — we never store it in plain text.
• If you use Google Sign-In, we receive your name, email address, and profile photo from your Google account.

Activity & content. When signed in, we store data tied to your account so the app works across devices:

• Favorites / liked ringtones and wallpapers.
• Download and play history.
• Ringtone requests you submit.

Device & usage data. Collected automatically:

• IP address, device model, operating system, app version, and language.
• In-app interactions and analytics events (which screens/items are used).
• A push notification token (via Firebase Cloud Messaging) so we can send you notifications, if you enable them.
• Download counts for ringtones and wallpapers (aggregate popularity stats).

Permissions the app uses

• Audio files / storage — only when you pick a file in the MP3 Cutter or download/save a ringtone or wallpaper. We do not scan or upload your personal files; selected files are processed on your device.
• Modify system settings — to set audio as your ringtone, notification, or alarm tone when you ask us to.
• Notifications — to deliver push notifications you opt into.
• Internet / network access — to load ringtones, wallpapers, and app content.

How we use your information

• To provide and operate the Service (accounts, downloads, favorites, ringtone/wallpaper setting, MP3 cutter, status maker).
• To sync your data across your devices.
• To send notifications you have enabled.
• To understand usage and improve the app through analytics.
• To keep the Service secure and prevent abuse.

Third-party services

We rely on the following providers, which may process some of the data above under their own privacy policies:

• Google Firebase — Authentication, Analytics, and Cloud Messaging (push notifications).
• Google Sign-In — for optional sign-in with a Google account.
• Google AdMob — the app includes the Google Mobile Ads SDK. We currently do not display ads; if advertising is introduced in a future version, ads will be served by Google AdMob, which may use a device advertising identifier. We will update this policy and our Google Play disclosure accordingly.
• CDN & hosting — to deliver files and run the website and app backend.

We do not sell your personal data, and we do not share it with third parties except the service providers listed above as needed to run the Service, or where required by law.

Data retention

We keep account information for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we delete or anonymize your personal data within a reasonable period, except where we must keep it to meet legal obligations. Aggregated, non-identifying statistics (like total download counts) may be retained.

Your rights & account deletion

You can:

• Access or update your profile in the app (Profile → Edit).
• Delete your account and associated data — request this from inside the app or by emailing us at the address below. We will process deletion requests within 30 days.
• Ask what data we hold about you, and request its correction or deletion (GDPR / CCPA and similar laws).

To delete your account or data, email [email protected] from your registered email address.

Children's privacy

RingMasti is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.

Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures (encryption in transit, hashed passwords, access controls) to protect your data. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, but we work to keep your information safe.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will revise the "Last updated" date above and, for significant changes, may notify you in the app.
